Clyde Foods Policies
What clydefoods.com collects, why we use it, and what we do not do with it.
Effective October 5, 2026
Clyde Foods operates clydefoods.com. This policy explains the information that may be processed when you use the website, participate in a Clyde Foods poll, follow an external link, or contact us.
Like most websites, requests to clydefoods.com necessarily contain technical information such as an IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser or device information, and network-related information. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may process this information to deliver the site, route traffic, prevent abuse, maintain reliability, and provide security services.
Cloudflare also provides traffic and security analytics based on requests handled at its edge. Depending on the dashboard view, this may include requested paths, timestamps, source IP addresses, countries or regions, browser and device categories, user agents, referrers, network information, response status, and security actions.
Clyde Foods has enabled Cloudflare Web Analytics / RUM. Cloudflare automatically injects a JavaScript performance beacon from static.cloudflareinsights.com and receives measurements through the site's /cdn-cgi/rum endpoint. We use the resulting aggregate page-view and page-performance information, including Core Web Vitals, to understand whether the website is working well.
Cloudflare describes this service as privacy-first and cookie-free, and states that it does not use visitors' personal data or track individual users across Cloudflare customers' sites. Clyde Foods does not use Cloudflare Web Analytics for advertising, retargeting, session replay, or cross-site behavioral profiles.
The October 2026 Burgers vs Dogs poll uses a visitor's IP address to enforce the one-vote-per-IP rule. The application uses the IP address to create a keyed cryptographic hash. The poll database stores the resulting voter hash, the selected poll choice, and a timestamp. The raw IP address is not written to the poll vote table.
The voter hash is used to determine whether the same IP address has already voted in that poll and to preserve poll integrity. Retention of individual voter-hash records is based on poll administration, integrity, security, and applicable legal requirements, as described below; aggregate poll totals may be retained for historical purposes.
If you email [email protected], we receive the information you choose to send, which may include your email address, name, message content, and attachments. We use that information to respond to you and maintain ordinary business records.
Clyde Foods does not currently offer a public subscriber account system on this website and does not ask visitors to submit account passwords to Clyde Foods through clydefoods.com.
Clyde Foods does not currently deploy advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral-tracking cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics / RUM uses a cookie-free JavaScript performance beacon to measure page views and website performance. The website uses local browser storage only to remember when you dismiss the site's privacy/cookie notice. Cloudflare or other infrastructure necessary to deliver and secure the website may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technical identifiers depending on the service and circumstances.
Our Cookie & Site Technology Policy explains this in more detail.
We may provide information to service providers that help us host, secure, maintain, or operate the website. Our primary website infrastructure, security, edge-analytics, and web-performance provider is Cloudflare.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect Clyde Foods or others, investigate abuse, or protect the security and integrity of the website.
We do not sell personal information.
We keep information only for as long as reasonably useful for the purpose for which it was collected, our security and operational needs, historical poll integrity, ordinary business records, or applicable legal obligations. Infrastructure and security logs may have separate retention periods controlled by the services and settings used to operate the site.
Retention periods depend on the type of information, the purpose for which it was collected, whether it is needed for an active support matter or security incident, and applicable legal or recordkeeping requirements. Aggregate poll totals may be retained for historical purposes. Infrastructure, security, performance, runtime, and recovery records are also subject to the services and settings used to operate the site.
This update does not extend retention periods previously stated for information already collected.
You can clear cookies and local storage using your browser controls. Doing so may cause the privacy notice to appear again.
Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights relating to personal information. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected]. We may need enough information to understand and verify a request before acting on it.
Clyde Foods links to external services such as X and may link to other third-party sites. Their privacy practices are controlled by those services, not by Clyde Foods. Review their policies before providing information to them.
We may update this policy when the website, our technology, or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
